Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Circumify collects (and what it doesn't), how cookies are used, and what rights you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose — no legal boilerplate filler.

1. The calculator collects nothing

The circumference calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into the radius, diameter, circumference, or area fields is sent to our server or stored anywhere. Your numbers stay on your device.

2. What we do collect

Contact form submissions

If you fill in the contact form, your name, email address, and message are emailed directly to the site owner ([email protected]) via Web3Forms. We use that information only to reply to you. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we won't share it with third parties.

Standard server logs

Like any website, our server receives basic log data when your browser requests a page: your IP address, the page requested, your browser type, and the time. These logs are used for security monitoring and are not tied to your identity.

3. Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies — anonymous, aggregated data about which pages are visited and where visitors come from. No personally identifiable information is collected. These help us understand what content is useful.
  • Advertising cookies — Circumify displays ads through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on a visitor's interests and prior browsing activity across sites on the internet. See Section 4 for how to opt out.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most features of the site will still work without them.

4. Google AdSense and personalised advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google, as a third-party ad vendor, may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads tailored to your interests based on your visits to this site and other websites. This is called interest-based or personalised advertising.

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings . You can also opt out via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page . Opting out means you'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing history.

Other vendors in Google's ad network may also set cookies. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.

5. Third-party services we use

  • Cloudflare — acts as a CDN and security layer between visitors and our server. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata to provide this service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy .
  • Google (Ads & Analytics) — serves advertisements and provides anonymised usage analytics. See Google's privacy policy .
  • Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email. See Web3Forms' privacy policy .

6. Where your data is stored

The site is delivered globally via Cloudflare's CDN. The origin server is located in Germany (EU). Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms. If you are located in the EU or UK, data may be transferred outside your country. We rely on standard contractual clauses and the services' own compliance frameworks as safeguards.

7. Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the following rights:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data (CCPA).
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

8. Children

Circumify is a general-audience site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be noted on the site.
